Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) has implemented ‘Fast Track System’ i.e. FASTPAS on the occasion of New Year 2026. Through this digital system, maps of small residential and commercial buildings can be approved online within a few minutes. Now citizens will not need to visit LDA office again and again.
What is Fastpass?
FastPass is an automated digital platform that verifies the building map and makes the approval process faster. This facility is available for houses up to 100 square meters and commercial buildings up to 30 square meters. The owner or registered architect uploads the map and the system automatically checks and issues approval.
Application process easy
Visit the portal map.up.gov.in and create a new account or login. Do Aadhaar e-KYC. Upload plot information and map. Deposit fees online. The system will automatically check the map and give instant approval.
What are the benefits of this system?
With this digital system, the cost of application will now be only Rs 5-7 thousand instead of Rs 40-50 thousand earlier. Small plot owners, middle class and small businessmen will benefit the most. Apart from this, control on illegal construction will also increase as standard map will be necessary.
