No respite from cold and fog in Bihar, Meteorological Department issues alert regarding cold wave

Patna: Due to cold westerly wind, the effect of Kankani will remain in Bihar. Light to moderate fog will prevail in other parts including Patna and the effect of Kankani will remain along with sunshine during the day. A warning has been issued regarding very dense fog in other parts including Sitamarhi, Shivhar, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria and Kishanganj. One to three degree rise in maximum temperature is possible during 48 hours.

Cold wave is likely to prevail in West Bihar, whereas, cold day conditions will persist in South Eastern and North Bihar. Due to less westerly effect and fog in the capital, there will be sunshine during the day. However, Kankani will have influence during this period.
