Sabrina Carpenter has delighted her fans by joining Miss Piggy in the highly anticipated teaser trailer for The Muppet Show.
On Friday, December 2, the official teaser for the upcoming special was released, showing the 26-year-old pop sensation dressed in a baby pink sequin gown as she appears alongside Miss Piggy.
In the now-viral teaser, Kermit the Frog announces, “It’s the return of The Muppet Show!”
In a subsequent scene, Carpenter calls Miss Piggy “an icon” as the two prepare together in a dressing room.
“Kermit, Miss Piggy and the beloved Muppet gang are back with a brand-new special event,” reads the official synopsis for the forthcoming show.
It continues, “Music, comedy, and a whole lot of chaos are bound to ensue when The Muppets once again take the stage of the original Muppet Theatre with their very special guest, Sabrina Carpenter!”
The teaser was instantly met with fans’ excitement, as viewers flooded social media with reactions.
One fan wrote, “She can really do a lot with 15 mins.”

It is worth noting that the upcoming special, scheduled to premiere on ABC and Disney+ on February 4, 2026, will mark the 50th anniversary milestone of the original The Muppet Show series.
