Ban on delivery of non-veg within 15KM radius of Ram temple, decision of Ayodhya administration
Now non-veg food will not be available around the Ram temple in the holy city of Ayodhya. Ayodhya administration on Friday banned the delivery of non-veg food within 15 km radius of the temple. At the same time, the administration has also given a strict warning to hotels and homestays serving non-veg food and advised them not to serve meat and liquor within the prescribed limits.
People of Ayodhya say that in the month of May last year, the Municipal Corporation had banned the sale of liquor and meat on the 14 km long Ram Path. But the reality is opposite. Liquor is being sold at more than two dozen outlets on the way. Let us tell you that Ram Path connects Ayodhya to Faizabad.

Decision taken after complaint
People of Ayodhya raised the issue of delivery of non-veg food in Panchkosi Parikrama area several times. He alleged that food delivery platforms were violating the rules despite the ban. After this the Ayodhya administration has issued a new order. This information has also been given to all the food delivery companies.
Administration will monitor
Assistant Food Commissioner Manik Chandra Singh said that despite the ban, complaints about delivery of non-veg food to tourists were being received through online platforms. After this, a ban has been imposed on online delivery of non-veg food. All hotels, shopkeepers and delivery companies have been informed. Constant monitoring will be done to ensure compliance with the rules.

Approval will have to be taken to remove liquor shops
On the other hand, on the allegation of sale of liquor on Ram Path, Ayodhya Municipal Corporation officials say that meat shops have been removed from the banks of Ram Path. Approval of the district administration is necessary to remove liquor shops.
