Light earthquakes keep coming in Palghar district

Why do earthquakes occur?
An earthquake is a sudden movement in the Earth’s surface (crust), which is mostly caused by the movement of tectonic plates. When these plates collide with each other. If they move away from each other or move closer to each other, tension is created. When this stress becomes so much that the rocks start breaking, then suddenly energy comes out and this is what causes an earthquake.
