According to experts, a hacker named Solonik is said to be behind this data leak. Malwarebytes, during its routine dark web scanning, discovered that large JSON and TXT files were uploaded on January 7, 2026. It is believed that this data originated in Instagram API (Application Programming Interface) in 2024. Scammers took advantage of a loophole and stole data.
