New Delhi. Hyundai Motor Company has introduced the Staria Electric MPV at the 2026 Brussels Motor Show. Staria Electric is scheduled to be launched in Korea and Europe in the first half of 2026. Later it will be launched in other markets also. Hyundai had earlier introduced the ICE engined Staria at the Auto Expo 2025 in India. Although the electric variant is not expected to arrive in India immediately, the company has not ruled out its launch in the near future, especially considering the growing demand for premium MPVs.

exterior
The brand of Hyundai Staria Electric emphasizes that it has been prepared with a special design adopting ‘inside out’ design, so that people get a good experience while sitting inside the car. The exterior design of the car has been made in such a way that it has maximum space and openness. Its long look, beltline and large cabin make it special, in which the outside looks good. The front fascia, smooth body panels and a light strip further reinforce its stunning looks. Wide sliding doors and a large rear hatch enhance its looks.
Cabin and Features
The interior of the Hyundai Staria Electric features a cabin layout with two 12.3-inch displays. The next-generation ccNC infotainment platform with OTA updates keeps the system always up-to-date. The big cabin, features and interiors are the highlight, along with smart storage options and multiple seating options. At launch, it will come in two configuration options. the 7-seater Luxury, which offers ample legroom, headroom, adjustable seats and 435 liters of luggage space, and the 9-seater Wagon, designed for larger families or shuttle use, with sliding, foldable seats and cargo capacity of up to 1,303 litres.

Battery and powertrain
The Hyundai Staria Electric is equipped with an 84 kilowatt-hour battery and a 160 kW (215 bhp) engine, giving a WLTP-certified range of up to 400 km. Considering the engine and features, this MPV has an 800-volt architecture that enables ultra-fast DC charging, allowing the battery to be charged from 10 to 80 percent in about 20 minutes. For everyday use, an 11 kW AC charger is available which can also be charged at home or office.
