Recruitment of women bowlers in BCCI… UP Cricket Association invited applications
Lucknow: BCCI is looking for fast bowlers for the Indian Women’s Cricket Team. For this, BCCI has started Speed Queen campaign. For which the Governing Council UP T20 member of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association in Ghazipur has invited applications from women players for bowling in Ghazipur. Recently, India’s women’s cricket team created history by winning the final match of the Women’s ODI World Cup.
Team India won the title of champion by defeating South Africa by 52 runs. The daughters of India fulfilled this dream of the country after waiting for 47 years. After this victory, there is an atmosphere of happiness and pride in the entire country and now people are encouraging their daughters to participate in sports like cricket. Now daughters are also seen playing on cricket fields in rural areas.
Governing Council member of Uttar Pradesh Cricket Association, Sanjeev Kumar Singh said that the Board of Control for Cricket in India has started the Speed Queen campaign to search for new women bowlers, under which online applications from women bowlers have been considered.
Sanjeev Kumar Singh told that to participate in this campaign, the female bowler will also have to make a video of her bowling skills, which should be in multiple video formats and this video will have to be uploaded on the online portal up to 10 MB. He told that for this, the bowler, stamp and ball should be clearly visible in the video, so that the selector can observe them closely and know about their skills.
He told that the female bowler will have to register on upalspeedqueen.com and upload the video. They will be selected by the committee on the basis of uploaded videos only. Who will later be called to Delhi, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Ahmedabad and Mumbai for trial.
