‘Spread like wildfire’…Emraan Hashmi spoke about ‘Dhurandhar’, attacked the negative thinking of Bollywood

Tezzbuzz Desk – In Bollywood, Akshay Khanna and Ranveer Singh’s film ‘Dhurandhar’ has created a stir at the box office. The film broke many records and has made its place among the top-5 highest grossing films of Indian cinema. Now actor Emraan Hashmi has also given his opinion on the success of the film and also criticized the negative thinking present in the industry.

Imran’s taunt on Bollywood

In the interview, Emraan Hashmi was asked whether the success of a film sometimes hurts. In response to this, he said that people in Bollywood often try to degrade the earning films, whereas the truth is that the film which does well, benefits the industry and increases the cash flow. He said, “There should not be such poor thinking, rather good work should be celebrated.”

Praise for ‘Dhurandhar’

Imran compared the success of the film to a wildfire. He said, “This is a great film. The marketing was fantastic and people are going to watch it even in the early morning or 12 o’clock shows. This two-part film is almost three and a half hours long, but is still doing great business. It shows the power of cinema and word of mouth.”

Emraan Hashmi was last seen in the film ‘Haq’ and now he is going to make a splash on OTT through Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Taskari: The Smugglers’ Web’. He told that he has not seen ‘Dhurandhar’ yet, yet he appreciated the success and impact of the film.
