As soon as the raid started, a heavy contingent of police entered Nishad Nagar, Millat Colony, Kabaddi Patti, Neeche Bazaar, Karimganj-Maroofganj, Qamar Makhdoomi Road, Gulzarbagh, Zonal Training School area, Shamsher Nagar, Rahmatganj and many other localities and carried out intensive investigation. Strict surveillance is being maintained on suspicious houses, hideouts and traffic routes.

Sources reveal that a major member of Prince Khan gang had recently demanded extortion from a coal businessman of Dhanbad. Apart from this, Prince Khan, who is running his gang from Dubai, is also active in demanding extortion from the businessmen of Chatra, Palamu, Ranchi and Jamshedpur. Police say that the objective of the operation is to arrest criminals, recover illegal weapons and break the network. Police have said that they will give official confirmation on the results of the raid later. Dhanbad City SP and Rural SP are also involved in the raid. It is reported that some criminals and weapons have been recovered in the raid. However, the police are not saying anything yet. The raid is ongoing.
