‘I will kick you out…’, Raj Thackeray warns people of UP-Bihar
Mumbai: Now only three days are left for the voting of Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections and the election atmosphere is completely heated. Meanwhile, Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has once again shown his old attitude and given a sharp statement regarding Hindi and North Indians. His speech has not only created a stir in political circles, but has also given a new turn to the election debate.
In a rally organized on Sunday, Raj Thackeray accused the people coming from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar of imposing Hindi in Maharashtra. He said that Hindi is not their language and attempts to impose it forcibly will not be tolerated. Raj Thackeray said in a warning tone that if anyone tries to impose language in Maharashtra, he will be shown the way out.
Raj Thackeray also alleged that a large number of people from other states are coming to Maharashtra and capturing the resources, jobs and opportunities here. He said that if Marathi language and land were lost, the very existence of Marathi society would be in danger.
‘I will kick you out’
According to the information, Raj warned the people of UP-Bihar and said, "People of UP and Bihar should understand that Hindi is not your language. I don’t hate language, but if you try to impose it, I will kick you out." He also said that "They are coming to Maharashtra from all sides and taking your share. If the land and language are gone, you will be finished."
Raj Thackeray said regarding BMC elections, "This is the last election for Marathi people. If you give up the opportunity today, you will be doomed. Unite for Marathi and Maharashtra." He said, "Mumbai was achieved after the sacrifice of many people. What answer will we give to those people?"
Serious allegations against BJP
Raj Thackeray also launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party. He termed the three-language formula and the proposal to make Hindi mandatory from classes 1 to 5 as a big conspiracy. He said that he has no hatred for any language, but he is against the forced imposition of any language.
Raj Thackeray and his cousin Uddhav Thackeray accused the BJP of trying to ‘loot’ Mumbai and take the city into Gujarat’s economic orbit. Raj said that if BMC remains in his hands, Mumbai’s land will not be sold to any big industrialist.
