Actor Thalapathy Vijay reaches CBI headquarters, will be interrogated in Karur stampede case
Desk. Recently, Thalapathy Vijay was in controversies regarding his upcoming film ‘Jana Nayakan’. Also, their troubles in the Karur Stampede Case are not showing any signs of diminishing. Today he reached CBI Headquarters for questioning in this matter. Know, what has happened so far in this case?
According to the news, on January 12, Thalapathy Vijay appeared at the CBI headquarters in Delhi. He was taken to the investigation team. Vijay was questioned regarding the Karur stampede case. This case is of 27 September 2025, when there was a stampede at a public meeting of Vijay’s party TVK in Karur, Tamil Nadu. Many people were killed and many were injured in this stampede. At least 41 people lost their lives and more than 110 were injured in the stampede.
Officials associated with CBI said that many officials of Vijay’s party TVK have also been interrogated in the Karur stampede case. After investigating the questioning of Vijay Thalapathy on Monday, the agency can take a decision on filing a charge sheet in this case. After the order of the Supreme Court, CBI took up this case by forming an AIT. Right now the investigating agency is collecting evidence in this case.
