AAP MP Raghav Chadha becomes a Delivery Boy: Aam Aadmi Party MP Raghav Chadha has been continuously raising the issues of Gig Workers. He has taken the problems of the companies to the Parliament and conveyed them to the owners. Meanwhile, Raghav Chadha got down to the ground to know the pain of delivery riders like Zomato, Blinkit, Swiggy, Zepto and became a Delivery Boy. Also delivered goods to people’s homes by bike.

In fact, on December 31, Gig Workers went on a nationwide strike regarding their demands. They included demands like removing the 10-minute time limit on delivery service, increasing wages, social security (pension, insurance), fixed working hours, respect at the workplace and not blocking IDs arbitrarily. To which Raghav Chaddha had given his support. Now he has shared a video on social media. In which he is seen making deliveries in a vehicle dressed as a Blinkit delivery boy. Along with this he wrote, “Away from the boardroom, at the grassroots level. I lived his day. Stay tuned!”
AAP MPs have raised the issue of challenges for gig workers in the Rajya Sabha during the winter session. He had written in an ex-post during the Gig Workers’ strike – “Today, gig workers have announced a strike to bring forward their grievances. I raised their issues in Parliament earlier this month, and expect responsible negotiations from the platforms. I urge the management of Blinkit, Zepto and other companies to immediately intervene, negotiate and find true, humane solutions. India’s progress cannot be built on fear and exploitation. It must be built on respect and justice. Should go.”
