Former cricket star Shikhar Dhawan engaged with girlfriend Sophie Shine, marriage to take place in February

New Delhi, 12 January. Former Indian cricket team star Shikhar Dhawan has confirmed his engagement with his long-time girlfriend Sophie Shine. Dhawan wrote in the caption of an Instagram post, ‘Shared everything from smiles to dreams. Grateful for the love, blessings and good wishes we have received for our engagement, because we have decided to live together forever – Shikhar and Sophie. There was a photo of both of them in this post, in which they were wearing engagement rings.

According to media reports, Dhawan is going to marry Sophie Shine in February. The ceremony is likely to be held in Delhi-NCR in the third week of February, which will be attended by big personalities from the cricket world and Bollywood. Preparations for the grand ceremony have already begun, although no further details have been revealed yet.

Dhawan’s fiancee is working as a product consultant.

Sophie works as a product consultant and has a degree in Marketing and Management from Limerick Institute of Technology. Although cricket celebrities are often associated with personalities from the world of social media and entertainment, Sophie’s case is quite different.

This Irish-born professional studied at Castleroy College and her abilities can impress anyone. He currently holds the post of Second Vice President at Northern Trust Corporation in Abu Dhabi. Sophie has completed all her studies in Ireland. She now heads the Shikhar Dhawan Foundation, the charity wing of Da One Sports.

She was seen with Dhawan on several occasions, including watching a cricket match with the former Indian opener. But the news of their relationship was confirmed only when Shikhar himself made it public.
