Haryana: Good news for railway passengers in Haryana, Railways took this big decision
Haryana News: A big relief news has come to the fore for the railway passengers of Rohtak district in Haryana. Railway Board has given approval to run Amrit Bharat Express train between Rohtak and Kamakhya in Assam. With this decision, Rohtak is going to get direct rail connection with North-East India for the first time. Till now, to travel on this route, passengers had to change trains at Delhi or other major junctions.
According to the order issued by the Railway Board, this train will be operated weekly with numbers 15671 and 15672. 15671 Kamakhya – Rohtak Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Kamakhya every Friday at 10 pm and reach Rohtak at 2:45 pm on Sunday, covering a journey of about two days. Whereas, in return, 15672 Rohtak-Kamakhya Amrit Bharat Express will depart from Rohtak at 10:10 pm on Sunday night and reach Kamakhya at 12:15 pm on Tuesday.
However, the formal date and final time table of operation of the train has not been released yet. According to the proposed route, this train will pass through Assam, Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi and Haryana. Along with the major stations like Kathihar, Chhapra, Varanasi, Prayagraj and Delhi, there will be commercial stoppages at stations like Rangiya, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Barauni, Begusarai, Hajipur, Sonpur, Ballia, Ghaziabad and Bahadurgarh.
With the introduction of this new train, passengers of Rohtak as well as Jhajjar, Sonipat and Bhiwani areas will also get direct benefits. Traveling to Assam and North-Eastern states will now not only be easier but will also save both time and expense.
