I am coming to Mumbai, if you have the courage…Annamalai challenges Raj Thackeray, know what is the matter?


New Delhi. Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray and Tamil Nadu BJP leader K. A war of words has started between Annamalai. Actually, Raj Thackeray had recently made derogatory remarks about the name of Annamalai. Raj Thackeray had taunted Annamalai by calling him ‘Rasmalai’. Apart from this, a lot was also said on Annamalai’s statement regarding Mumbai politics. After this, some MNS supporters had said in a threatening tone that if Annamalai came to Mumbai, he would cut his legs. Now Annamalai has challenged Raj Thackeray and said that he is coming to Mumbai, if you have courage then show it by cutting his leg.

BJP leader Annamalai, however, termed the statements of Raj Thackeray and his supporters as full of ignorance. Annamalai said that Raj Thackeray’s comment is an insult to the Tamil people. Annamalai said that I am proud to be a farmer’s son. Those people held meetings just to abuse and insult me. He said that I don’t know how I became so famous. Let us tell you that Annamalai had recently said that there is a need for a triple engine government in Mumbai. He had said that there should be a BJP mayor in Mumbai.

Annamalai had also said that Mumbai is not just the capital of Maharashtra but it is a global metropolis whose budget is more than Rs 40,000 crore. Bengaluru’s budget is Rs 19,000 crore, while Chennai’s is Rs 8,000 crore. He had said that the administration of Mumbai should be in the hands of good people who can manage finances properly. Annamalai said that calling Mumbai a world class city does not mean that he is denying the contribution of Marathi people.
