BJP MP Mahesh Sharma, while praising the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, said that in a country with a population of 140 crores, today public trust in Narendra Modi as Prime Minister has reached unprecedented heights. The nation is safe under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi.
Talking to news agency IANS, he said that in view of the current global situation, international political and social situation, situation in neighboring countries like Bangladesh and the ongoing developments in countries like America, Venezuela, Russia and Ukraine, India needs a strong-willed, visionary and honest leader.
At such a time, not only India but the whole world recognizes Narendra Modi and it is a matter of good fortune for the country that in this time of crisis, a Prime Minister like Narendra Modi, a strong Home Minister like Amit Shah and an experienced Defense Minister like Rajnath Singh are leading the country.
Mahesh Sharma said that other leaders of BJP have also created such a strong system on which the people of the state and the country have full confidence. He said that when the reins of the country are in the hands of Prime Minister Modi, the nation remains safe.
Due to this belief, political changes have been seen in many states of the country. He said that before the recent changes in Bihar, changes have also taken place in Haryana, Delhi and Maharashtra and after all these political changes, now all eyes are fixed on West Bengal.
Expressing concern over the situation in West Bengal, he said that this state has played an important role in India’s freedom movement, but today it is lagging behind other states of the country due to corruption and misgovernance. He alleged that the benefits of important social schemes like Ayushman Bharat are not reaching the people there.
In such a situation, there is a need for a strong and decisive leadership to connect West Bengal with the mainstream and only Prime Minister Narendra Modi can provide that leadership. Mahesh Sharma said that PM Narendra Modi is the only option and ray of hope for the people to solve all the problems of the state.
Regarding the allegations made by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on BJP, Mahesh Sharma said that if any political party has any concrete evidence then it should be presented immediately, otherwise it should be proved after the elections.
He said that the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been completely transparent and it is not easy to put any kind of stain on him. He also said that a feeling is forming in the minds of the people of West Bengal that there is a need for change of leadership in the state.
The BJP MP expressed deep concern over the alleged atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. He said that it is unfortunate that in the country in which India played a role, today the situation has become very bad due to some political forces.
He alleged that a vicious circle is going on in Bangladesh in the name of religion, which is not only painful but is also not in the interest of the country. Mahesh Sharma said that if anyone can serve the real interest of Bangladesh, then it is Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Bharatiya Janata Party, who can pave the way for stability and peace there.
