New Delhi: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has announced the JKBOSE Class 11 and 12 annual exams 2026 dates for the summer zone covering Science, Commerce, Arts and vocational streams. As per the JKBOSE exam schedule, the Class 11 exams will be held between February 28 to April 2, while the Class 12 exams from February 23 to March 28, 2026. The exams will be held in a single session from 10 AM to 1 PM.
The JKBOSE board Class 10, 11, 12 syllabus has been reduced by 15 per cent. For only 85 per cent of the total marks, students need to attempt questions. The internal choices will be there in the question paper. Each of the multiple-choice questions (MCQs) will be marked separately. For all grammar sections, the same marking scheme will be followed.

For the external practical exams, the board will release the timetable in due course. The practicals will be held separately and the respective schools will inform about the practical exam and internal assessment requirements.
