Sweet potatoes are also beneficial for children in winter. In Ayurveda, sweet potato has been described as a strength enhancing substance. It warms the body slowly and gives energy for a long time. According to science, sweet potatoes are rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C, fiber and potassium, which increases immunity, improves skin and also improves digestion. Children like boiled sweet potatoes or lightly roasted sweet potatoes.
