Aam Aadmi Party’s anger over Rachna Yadav’s murder, many leaders including Saurabh Bhardwaj met the family.

New Delhi : After the murder of late Rachna Yadav, an active leader of Aam Aadmi Party, there is a sharp reaction in Delhi politics. On Tuesday, Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi state convenor Saurabh Bhardwaj, MLA Sanjeev Jha and many senior leaders reached Rachna Yadav’s residence in Shalimar Bagh and met the victim’s family after attending the condolence meeting. The leaders consoled the family and assured of all possible assistance. During this, party leaders raised serious questions on the law and order system of Delhi and the functioning of the police.

Murder near CM residence, still questions on action
Saurabh Bhardwaj said that the place where Rachna Yadav was shot dead in broad daylight is located just 400 meters away from the residence of Chief Minister Rekha Gupta. Despite this, it is very unfortunate that the Chief Minister did not come to meet the victim’s family. He said that after the incident, the entire family became so scared that they could not even muster the courage to come out of the house, while the police also reached the spot with a delay of about one and a half hour.

Accused absconding despite CCTV footage
Aam Aadmi Party leaders say that the entire incident of murder is clearly visible in CCTV cameras. The faces of the attackers have been clearly recorded, yet Delhi Police has not been able to arrest the accused till now. Saurabh Bhardwaj said that this shows the negligence of the police and this is creating serious concern about law and order in the minds of the public.

Murder before testimony, mountain of sorrows fell on family
Saurabh Bhardwaj told that Rachna Yadav has two younger daughters in her family. Her husband was also murdered two years ago and Rachna Yadav was the main witness in that case. He was to testify in the court in the coming days, but before that he was murdered. He told that even before this there had been two fatal attacks on Rachna Yadav, once in which firing was done and second time there was an attempt to attack.

According to party leaders, the incident took place when Rachna Yadav had come out of her house after seeing a funeral procession passing by. She was returning home after praying for the peace of the deceased person’s soul, when two youths riding a bike reached there. He called Rachna Yadav by name and as soon as she replied yes, a bullet was fired at her. After the incident, panic spread in the entire area.
