Talked to brother on phone, consoled myself

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami had a long phone conversation with late Sukhwant Singh’s brother Parvinder Singh on Tuesday. During this, he expressed his deep condolences and consoled the family. When this conversation was taking place, Sukhwant Singh’s father and other family members were also present there. The Chief Minister said in a very emotional tone that it is not possible to compensate for the loss caused by this tragic incident, but the government will ensure that the culprits get the strictest punishment under the law. He made it clear that the government is fully committed to providing justice.

Magistrate orders investigation, culprits are not well

Seeing the seriousness of the matter, the Chief Minister said that as soon as he got information about this incident, he immediately instructed the higher officials to take action. In this connection, orders have also been issued to the Kumaon Commissioner to conduct a magisterial inquiry into the entire matter. CM said that whenever any such incident happens in the state, the government has always shown promptness in providing justice to the victims. He also promised that he would soon himself reach Kashipur to meet the victim’s family.
