Alia Bhatt recently expressed her excitement for Rani Mukerji’s much-awaited film Mardaani 3 following the release of its teaser.
The 32-year-old actress, who often makes headlines for both her personal and professional life, shared her enthusiasm for the third installment of the critically acclaimed franchise.
On Tuesday, January 13, the Jigra star shared the trailer of Mardaani 3 on Instagram, accompanied by a caption praising Mukerji’s “unforgettable” three-decade-long prolific career in the industry.
She penned, “30 years of unforgettable performances and now one more. Cannot wait to watch Mardaani 3.”
Bhatt’s appreciation came shortly after Yash Raj Films (YRF) released the highly anticipated teaser of the film.
Sharing the teaser on Instagram, the production house wrote, “It is a race against time & there will be no mercy. Shivani Shivaji Roy is back to rescue girls who go missing without a trace. Mardaani 3 Trailer out now. #Mardaani3 releasing only in cinemas near you on 30th Jan.”
Apart from Bhatt, Anil Kapoor also appreciated his close friend Mukerji, marking the franchise’s third milestone with a heartwarming note.
Mardaani 3which marks Rani Mukerji’s return as Shivani Shivaji Roy, is directed by Abhiraj Minawala and is scheduled to release in cinemas on Friday, January 30.
Meanwhile, the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress is currently gearing up for the release of her upcoming project Alphaslated to hit theatres on Friday, April 17.
