Pragati Portal gave a new direction to economic, social and environmental sectors as well as positive governance: CM Yogi

Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday reviewed the Pragati Portal i.e. Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation. During this, he discussed projects, schemes and resolution of public complaints. He said, ‘Pragati’ is a new example of the work culture of the new India today. Which means… Pro Active Governance and Timely Implementation.

He said, if we look at the infrastructure portfolio of Uttar Pradesh, the state has the largest infrastructure portfolio in the country with 330 projects with a total cost of ₹ 10 lakh 48 thousand crore during this period. Progress has given a new direction to economic, social and environmental sectors as well as positive governance. If we look at this model in a big state like Uttar Pradesh, it has really proved to be a game-changer.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that Uttar Pradesh has today emerged as India’s infrastructure growth engine. As the largest infrastructure construction center of the country, projects are being conducted on a large scale in Uttar Pradesh today. The infrastructure here has now become a strong backbone of not only the state but also the national development.

Also said, progress is not just a review mechanism but a governance reform. This has moved governance from a file-centric culture to field-based results. Through this the decision process has been speeded up. Through Pragati, the target of solving 97 percent problems has been achieved. PM Modi’s vision that the benefits of every scheme should reach the common people has gained momentum through this. Before 2014, projects were approved but not completed. Today, as soon as every project starts, the time for its completion is fixed.
