Good news for 19 districts of UP, new opportunities from expressway!

News Desk. A big infrastructure project for Uttar Pradesh is progressing rapidly. The proposed Greenfield Economic Corridor Expressway from Shamli to Gorakhpur has now reached the important stage. After the preparation of the Detailed Project Report (DPR), a ban has been imposed on the purchase and sale of land in the area in Shamli district through which the expressway is to pass.

Let us tell you that along with this, the district administration has appointed a Special Land Acquisition Officer to take forward the process of land acquisition. Legal processes related to land acquisition will be started in the coming days.

750 kilometer long, six-lane mega expressway

This expressway will start from Shamli district in western Uttar Pradesh and go to Gorakhpur near the Nepal border in eastern UP. It is estimated that about Rs 35 thousand crore will be spent on this 750 kilometer long six-lane expressway. The responsibility of implementing the project has been given to the Roorkee unit of the National Highway Authority (NHAI). This corridor will play a big role in the economic development of the state.

Where will the expressway pass in Shamli?

This expressway will pass through Gogwan Jalalpur and Bhainsani Islampur villages under Thanabhawan block of Shamli district. Land transactions have been banned in these villages only. District Magistrate Arvind Kumar Chauhan has appointed ADM (F) Satyendra Kumar Singh as special officer for further process of land acquisition.

Which districts will benefit directly

This expressway will pass through 19 districts of UP. In which Shamli, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, Amroha, Bijnor, Badaun, Shahjahanpur, Hardoi, Sitapur, Lucknow, Bahraich, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Sant Kabirnagar, Gorakhpur, Rampur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sambhal.

Speed ​​up development, employment and investment

This expressway will prove to be not just a road but a new gateway to employment, industry and investment. Logistics, trade and tourism will get a boost and the distance between eastern and western parts of UP will reduce.
