Fire in BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad’s house in Delhi, fire brigade brought it under control in time.
Tezzbuzz Desk- An incident of fire has come to light at the residence of senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in Delhi on Wednesday morning. According to the information, the bed kept in a room of his house caught fire at around 8 in the morning. Seeing the flames rising, the fire brigade was immediately informed, after which three vehicles of the fire department reached the spot and the fire was completely controlled at around 8.30 pm.
According to sources, this incident took place in Kothi No. 2 of 11 Murti area on Mother Teresa Crescent Road, located in Lutyens Zone, a very sensitive and important area of Delhi. This residence of Ravi Shankar Prasad is located on Mother Teresa Crescent (Mother Crescent Road), which is counted among the special areas of the capital.
According to the fire department, the fire was limited to only one room. There is no report of any loss of life or property as the fire was extinguished in time. The people present in the house were evacuated safely.
Sub-fire officer Suresh M said, “As soon as we received the call, our team immediately reached the spot. There was a fire in a room, which has been completely extinguished. Senior officials have also been informed. At present, the cause of the fire is not known. There is no major damage.”
At present, teams of fire department and Delhi Police are present at the spot and the cause of the fire is being thoroughly investigated. Initially short circuit or some other technical reason is suspected, however official confirmation will come only after the investigation is completed.
The incident of fire in a high-security area like Lutyens Zone is being taken seriously. Security agencies are also keeping an eye on the matter. However, it is a matter of relief that there is no news of anyone being injured or major loss in this incident. Officials say that the actual cause of the fire will become clear after the investigation is completed.
