Pond becomes dark in Prayagraj, mourning in village due to drowning death of four innocent people
Prayagraj. A heart-wrenching accident came to light in Prayagraj district on Wednesday, which plunged the entire area into mourning. Four children died tragically due to drowning in a pond located in Kusua village under Sallahpur outpost of Puramufti police station area. After the incident, there was chaos in the village and the family members were in bad condition, crying.
It is being told that the deceased children were playing on the banks of the pond near the village during the day. No one even realized when they went into deep water while playing. When the children were not seen for a long time, the villagers started searching and found their clothes and slippers lying on the banks of the pond. After this, when a search was conducted in the pond, the bodies of all four were recovered from the water.
Those who lost their lives in the accident have been identified as Prateek Sonkar (12) son of Pradeep Sonkar, Prince Sonkar (10) son of Pradeep Sonkar, Karan Sonkar (19) son of Rajesh Sonkar and Priyanshu Sonkar (11) son of late Sandeep Sonkar. All four are said to be residents of the same village.
As soon as the news of the simultaneous death of four children spread, there was chaos in the entire village. A large number of villagers reached Sallahpur police post. At the same time, some family members have refused to accept this incident as an accident and have expressed fear of murder, due to which the matter has become even more sensitive.
As soon as the information was received, Puramufti police station reached the spot and inspected the spot. The police have taken the bodies into custody and sent them for post-mortem. Officials say that the matter is being investigated seriously and is being investigated keeping every aspect in mind. The actual cause of death will be confirmed only after the post-mortem report comes. At present, after this heart-wrenching incident, there is a mournful silence in the entire Kusua village and every eye is moist.
