In 2019, during the Chandrayaan-2 mission, the entire nation was shocked when the lander went out of contact a few kilometers from the lunar surface. ‘Space Jane: Chandrayaan’ takes the story forward from that time. This series also raises the question of what happens to an institution and its people when expectations are shattered, criticism increases and the whole world starts questioning. The show treats the failed landing not as the end, but as a new beginning.
