Ariana Grande, Jonathan Bailey confirm new project after ‘Wicked’

Ariana Grande and Jonathan Bailey wrapped the successful run of Wicked and its sequel Wicked: For Good in 2025 and are set to star together again.

The duo has been confirmed to reunite on screen for another project away from the world of The Wizard of Oz.

After starring as Glinda and Prince Fiyero, the pair is now confirmed to reunite on stage.

The long-rumoured project has finally received a confirmation that the duo will be seen on stage in a new production of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park with George.

The Bridgerton star shared a picture with Ariana in a gallery in front of A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte.

The painting is made by Georges Seurat, who inspired the Sondheim’s Pulitzer Prize-winning musical.

The picture was captioned “All it has to be is good,” which is a lyric from the show’s title song.

As per Deadlinethe show will premier in London in summer of 2027 in Barbican Theatre and will be directed by Marianne Elliott.

Neither Ariana, now Jonathan have shared a statement explicitly confirming the reports but the instagram post ahs sent their fans into frenzy.
