Headmaster’s negligence in school, meat cooked in kitchen

There was chaos in the school because of the headmaster. Children’s education was disrupted. Rural and education departments are busy investigating the matter. Strict action is being demanded against the culprits.

Rajasthan: Disorganization was seen in the education of children on Monday in Government Primary School, Talab ki Dhani, Gangapur City tehsil of Sawai Madhopur district. Headmaster Amar Singh Meena closed the school without any reason and locked the main gate from inside. After the school opened, this incident came to the notice of the villagers.

Villagers said there were around 31 children enrolled in the school and only four staff members, including the headmaster, were present. The school environment was completely unsafe and unorganized for the children.

When the villagers climbed the wall of the school, they found the headmaster drunk. At the same time, in the school kitchen, the cook was cooking tikkad on the stove and meat in a steel pan. When the villagers asked the cook about vegetables and meat, he did not give the correct answer.

The video of this incident has also surfaced on social media. It can be clearly seen in the video that the headmaster is sitting on a chair outside in the sun and is not caring about the children’s education.

Villagers complained

When the villagers questioned the headmaster, he asked to speak to the District Education Officer (DEO) on phone. When the villagers refused to talk, the headmaster said, “Take whatever action is necessary.”

Villagers say that the activities in the school are against the rules and show neglect of children’s education and emotions. He demanded strict action against the culprits and fair investigation from the Education Department.

Education Department’s response

Chief Block Education Officer (CBEO) Gayatri Varmendu said that a video of meat being prepared has surfaced and the Panchayat Elementary Education Officer (PEEO) has been informed about the matter. If any mistake is found in the investigation, strict action will be taken in this matter.

In Sawai Madhopur district, there were school holidays till January 10 due to winter. 11th January was Sunday. The school was open on Monday (January 12) and on the same day the headmaster dismissed the children.
