A seven-year-old girl died after allegedly being brutally beaten by her own father and stepmother. The post mortem report has revealed that the girl had many serious injuries on her body, several of her ribs were broken and there was internal bleeding in the head and chest.

The police have registered a case of murder in the case and started investigation. However, the father and stepmother accused of this crime have not been arrested yet, but the police say that they are being interrogated and will be arrested soon.

Shocking revelations in the post mortem report

According to the police, in the post-mortem report a total of 13 serious injuries were found on the girl’s body. The report also revealed that the girl had several fractured ribs and had suffered severe internal bleeding in the head and chest, which became the main cause of her death. ACP Wave City Circle Priyashree Pal said “The postmortem report has revealed that the girl has 13 injuries on her body, which were caused by beating by her parents. The parents have been called for questioning and will be arrested soon. Apart from the injuries, she also suffered fractures in her ribs and internal bleeding in the chest and head. The investigation into the case is ongoing.”

Was brutally beaten on Saturday and Sunday

Wave City Police Station SHO Sarvesh Kumar said that the girl was brutally beaten on both Saturday and Sunday. Not only this, it is alleged that he was also left on the terrace in the cold at night.

According to him, “When the girl became unconscious after being beaten on Sunday night, she was immediately taken to different hospitals, but she died around 3 am on Monday. According to the post-mortem report, the girl had suffered serious injuries due to being brutally beaten by the two accused. We will examine the documents of the concerned hospitals as part of the investigation.”

Father and stepmother confessed to the crime

Police said that Mohammad Akram, who is a salesman by profession, and his wife Nisha have confessed to attacking the girl late on Sunday night. When the girl became unconscious after the attack, both of them took her to the hospital, where doctors declared her dead. The couple was taken into custody on Monday. On Tuesday, the girl’s grandfather Mohammad Zaheer lodged a formal complaint at the Wave City police station. On the basis of this complaint, the police registered an FIR for murder.
