Kotak Alts awards: Kotak Alts Catalyst Awards Announced! So many millions in prize money for the best financial podcasters

Kotak Alts awards: Kotak Alternate Asset Managers Limited (Kotak Altas) today launched the Kotak Altas Catalyst Awards. It is a first of its kind platform to identify the best financial podcasters in India. The winner will get a prize of 25 lakhs. This winner-take-all award was launched to promote accurate and reliable financial content. It aims to identify content creators who empower and instill confidence in young and first-time investors with accurate information.

Those interested in participating can submit their best vodcasts (video podcasts). This video must be published on YouTube in 2025 (between January 1, 2025 and December 31, 2025). Applications can be submitted till 31 January 2026 at katalyst.kotakalternateasset.com. After this, a team of leading industry experts will review these videos to determine how informative, unique and relevant they are.

Srini Srinivasan, Managing Director, Kotak Alts, said India is currently witnessing the biggest wave of economic participation. Millions of new investors are searching the Internet for accurate information, but incomplete and shortcut advice is available. Podcasts and vodcasts have emerged as powerful sources of financial information, but their quality and reliability vary significantly. Catalyst bridges this gap by highlighting the creators who simplify complex problems, build confidence, and make financial education engaging and useful.

Eligibility and Application Rules

Applicants must be Indian citizens and reside in India and possess a valid identity card. Your YouTube channel must have at least 50,000 subscribers by December 31, 2025. By December 31, 2025, you must have at least 1 year of experience producing finance-related videos and have produced at least 3 advisory episodes. A compelling podcast of at least 5 minutes (minimum 5 minutes in length) airing between January 1 and December 31, 2025 must be submitted to katalyst.kotakalternateasset.com by January 31, 2026.

Content must be aimed at facilitating financing for young and first-time investors. Content may be in English or major Indian languages, but English subtitles are required. All entries will be evaluated by a distinguished jury panel based on quality of content, novelty and audience participation. Full details of the jury and evaluation process will be shared soon.
