Major reshuffle in Delhi Police, 31 inspectors transferred, SHOs changed in many police stations

A large scale administrative reshuffle has been made in Delhi Police. Under the order issued by the Police Headquarters, a total of 31 inspectors have been transferred and posted. This order has been implemented with immediate effect. According to the released list, many inspectors have been removed from Traffic, Crime Branch, DAP, Special Branch and different districts and given the responsibility of SHO in police stations, while some have been removed from police stations and sent to Crime Branch, DAP and other special units. Taking a big administrative step in the beginning of the new year, Delhi Police Headquarters has transferred Inspector level officers. This change will affect many important police stations and units of the capital, where new officers will take over the responsibilities.

In the order issued by Delhi Police Headquarters on Tuesday (January 13), a total of 31 inspectors have been transferred. According to the released list, new postings have been given to officers posted in many units including Crime Branch, Traffic, Licensing and First Battalion DAP. At the administrative level, this is being considered as a routine reshuffle.

According to officials, these transfers have been made with the aim of further strengthening law and order in the capital. The police stations and units where changes have been made are often related to sensitive matters, VIP movement and crime control.

According to the order, Inspector Rajendra Kumar has been removed from the traffic unit and made the SHO of New Osmanpur police station of North Eastern district. Meanwhile, Inspector Ganga Ram Meena has been given the responsibility of Inspector Investigation, Dabri and SHO of Dabri police station. Inspector Rajesh Kumar has been removed from SHO Kanjhawala and sent to Keshav Puram police station, while Inspector Mahendra Pratap has been removed from BN DAP and appointed SHO of Pul Prahladpur police station in South district. Inspector Kumar Prashant was removed from Maya Puri police station and made the SHO of Wazirabad police station.

Whereas Inspector Manoj Kumar has been transferred from Wazirabad police station and sent to the fifth battalion. Apart from this, Ashish Singh has been transferred from Nabi Karim police station to the 8th battalion, while Inspector Rajnikanth has been transferred from SHO Bawana police station to the 5th battalion. On the other hand, Inspector Vipin Yadav has been removed from the post of SHO Karawal Nagar and sent to Special Branch. Apart from this, Inspector Virendra Kumar has been shifted from SHO IGI Airport to Rohini district. Police Headquarters has instructed all concerned officers to immediately relieve themselves and report to the new place of posting. This major administrative reshuffle is being considered an important step towards further strengthening the law and order in Delhi.
