‘Haq’ showscases Yami Gautam’s incredible talent, says Aditi Rao Hydari
Indian actress Aditi Rao Hydari praised Yami Gautam’s performance in the courtroom drama Haq.
She shared her thoughts on Instagram stories, praising the actors, directors, and the team behind the project.
She wrote, “It’s been a week since I watched Haq And I haven’t stopped thinking about it. A film so beautifully crafted, directed, acted, written. An important story, told with dignity, vulnerability, strength, grace and rage all at once. It felt so real, so layered. Thank you Suparn Verma for this film, more power to you, this one is too special and so is your mind… always cheering for you.”

The film draws inspiration from the landmark 1985 Supreme Court case, Mohd. Ahmed Khan vs Shah Bano Begum, which shaped women’s rights and maintenance laws in India.
