Iranian officials have warned neighboring countries that if their bases are used for the attack, they too will be targets.

Tips for travelers

Aviation experts have advised travelers traveling to West Asia or Europe to allow extra time for their connecting flights. Fuel consumption and flight time may increase by 2 to 4 hours due to the use of alternative routes, which is also likely to increase ticket prices. Call centers and help desks of airlines are currently under heavy pressure due to increased enquiries, so it would be better to use online services.
