Geeta Jayanti, the great festival associated with the faith and spirituality of crores of devotees around the world, will be celebrated with great pomp this year on 1 December 2025. Celebrated on the Ekadashi date of Margashirsha Shukla Paksha, this festival reminds of the divine moment when Lord Shri Krishna gave infinite knowledge of religion, karma and spirituality to Arjuna on the holy land of Kurukshetra. On this occasion, a grand International Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav is organized in Kurukshetra, Haryana. These programs include continuous recitation of Gita, global Gita conference, cultural celebrations, religious processions and huge yagya rituals.

This year Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav is also special because Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in it on November 25 and Madhya Pradesh has been added as a ‘partner state’ in this program. Geeta Jayanti programs are also being organized in 51 countries, making this event a center of spiritual consciousness at the global level. This year Geeta Jayanti Mahotsav is starting from November 15, 2025. The program will run for 21 days and end on December 5, 2025.
