‘Did not earn even a single rupee’, what did the ex-husband say on Mary Kom’s allegations?

The fight between boxer Mary Kom and her ex-husband Onler has now come to the fore. Both are now divorced. Now both are making serious allegations against each other. Honler has alleged that Mary Kom had an extra marital affair. At the same time, now a video of Mary Kom is going viral, in which she claimed that her husband did not earn even 1 rupee. He made this claim in an interview.

During the interview, when he was asked that Onler had left his successful career for you. On this Mary Kom said, ‘What kind of successful career? He used to play football on the streets. To tell the truth, he did not earn even a single rupee. Used to sleep morning and evening.

She also claimed that Onler had emptied her bank account while she was working hard in the ring to earn money. He said, ‘He was living on the earnings of a girl. I was earning so much, I had full confidence in him. Later I came to know that my account was almost empty.

What did the onler say?

Onler has rejected Mary Kom’s claims. He also said that Mary Kom had forced him to contest the elections.

He told Hindustan Times, ‘She (Mary) said that I spent a lot of money to contest the elections. In fact he was the one who forced me to do it. In 2016, he was nominated for Rajya Sabha. When his term was ending, he asked me to contest the elections.

On Mary’s claim that when they got married, Honler did not earn even a single rupee. Responding to this, Onler said that at that time he was a contract football player for the Excise and Customs Department in Shillong and was also preparing for the UPSC exam. He says that he sacrificed his career for Mary Kom to become a great boxer.

Onler said, ‘When we met I was preparing for UPSC. I was also a contract football player. He asked me to leave my career and support him. He asked me to take care of the kids. He was very fond of boxing and I loved him, so I felt that his passion was our passion. She was away for weeks and months. I raised children. I bathed him, fed him, took him to coaching and drove him home.

‘I was his driver, his cook’

Onler admitted that their marriage was a little different compared to other couples. He also admitted that both of them had different roles in their marriage.

 

He said, ‘I was his driver. I was his cook. I did everything and I did it because it was for our home and family. I lived like her slave but in my eyes it was all for love. Now she is saying hurtful things. Okay, we have taken divorce from a court but don’t misunderstand my support.

 

Onler further said, ‘Our royals did not have our traditional gender roles. This was not even possible. She wanted to box, so I agreed to stay behind and run the house. She was the earning member but I never saw it as doing anything special. I was just supporting my wife’s passion.
