Bajaj Chetak C25 Launch: Bajaj Auto has launched the new Bajaj Chetak C25, further strengthening its hold in the Indian electric two wheeler market. This new electric scooter has been launched especially keeping in mind the customers who travel daily in cities. Coming with a starting price of Rs 91,399, this scooter is considered to be the best combination of style, reliability and great range. With a claimed range of 113 km, it seems to be giving a tough challenge to brands like Ola and TVS.
Same classic design, but with a new twist
Talking about design, the same iconic neo retro look is seen in Bajaj Chetak C25, which has given Chetak a special identity. At the front, the horseshoe shape LED headlamp remains the same, but new graphics on the side panels give it a fresh look. The new taillight design at the rear makes it different from the old model. Overall the scooter gives a simple, stylish and premium feel.
Benefit of metallic body and strong storage
The biggest feature of Bajaj Chetak C25 is its metallic body. This is the only electric scooter in India which comes with a completely metal body. This makes the scooter stronger and remains durable for a long time. It has a boot space of 25 liters, in which helmet and everyday items can be easily kept. Also, the 650 mm long seat is comfortable for both the rider and the pillion.
There is no lack in features either
In terms of features also, Bajaj Chetak C25 is fully loaded. It has a color LCD display, which supports smartphone connectivity. Features like call and SMS alerts, turn by turn navigation and music controls make it a smart scooter. Apart from this, Hill Hold Assist feature has also been provided, due to which this scooter can easily ride with two people even on 19 percent climb.

Complete details of battery, range and charging
Bajaj Chetak C25 has a 2.5 kWh battery, which powers the 2.2 kW electric motor. The company claims that this scooter can run up to 113 kilometers once fully charged. It takes about 2 hours 25 minutes to charge from 0 to 80 percent. With the help of a 750W off-board charger, the scooter gets fully charged in less than 4 hours.
