Monsoon Update: Weather across the country is changing rapidly. Severe cold is affecting most states across the country. Intense cold is affecting several states, including Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, and Delhi. According to the Meteorological Department, an alert has been issued for light to moderate rainfall across Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, and Himachal Pradesh from January 16 to 20. In addition, there is a possibility of heavy rain or snowfall in some places. Rain or snowfall may also occur in various parts of Uttarakhand. Rain is also expected in isolated areas of western Uttar Pradesh and eastern Rajasthan. So, let’s find out what the weather will be like in the coming days.
Dense Fog Warning in These States
The Meteorological Department predicts that very dense fog is likely to prevail in isolated parts of Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, and Delhi until January 16. According to the Meteorological Department, dense fog may persist in isolated areas of western Uttar Pradesh until January 19.
Delhi Weather Update
According to the Meteorological Department, cloudy skies are expected in Delhi between January 18 and 20. In addition, the mornings and nights may feel colder between January 16 and 17. The temperature is expected to be around 4 to 5 degrees Celsius.

Rain Warning in Uttar Pradesh
The Meteorological Department has issued a rainfall alert for Uttar Pradesh from January 18 to 20. Cold wave conditions are expected on January 15 in Gorakhpur, Prayagraj, Kanpur, Lucknow, Ayodhya, Agra, Mathura, Meerut, Noida, Jhansi, Bareilly, and Aligarh.
West Bengal Weather Forecast
Minimum temperatures are expected to rise by two to three degrees in all districts of West Bengal. The Meteorological Department has said that the weather is likely to remain dry in the state for the next five days.
Weather Forecast for Himachal Pradesh
A warning for light to moderate rainfall has been issued for Himachal Pradesh from January 16th to January 20th. Rainfall is expected to lower temperatures by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius. An alert has been issued for snowfall in Manali, Lahaul-Spiti, Kangra, Kullu, and Mandi. The maximum temperature in Manali will be 2 degrees Celsius, and the minimum will be -12 degrees Celsius.
Weather Forecast for Rajasthan
An alert for rain has been issued for Rajasthan on January 19th and 20th. A cold wave warning has been issued for Jaipur, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Kota, Ajmer, Sikar, and Bikaner. Additionally, an alert for dense fog has been issued for Churu, Sri Ganganagar, Bharatpur, and Alwar.
