‘Don’t want an impotent man like you…’ Husband, broken by his wife’s bitter words, commits suicide by consuming poison at the doorstep of his in-laws!

A heart-wrenching case has come to light in Kanpur, where a young man, fed up with his wife’s indifference and bitter words, committed suicide. No one had thought that the love story that started 8 years ago would have such a dreadful end. In Chakeri police station area, a young man consumed poison outside his in-laws’ house, due to which he died during treatment.

Last request at the threshold of in-laws’ house

Vikram Kevat, 25, resident of Anand Vihar, Hanumant Vihar, was an auto driver by profession. Vikram had gone to his wife Riya’s maternal home to convince her. It is being told that Vikram kept knocking on the door of his in-laws’ house for a long time and requesting his wife to come back, but Rhea did not open the door. When the pleas did not work, he made a last call to his wife at around 3:40 pm and then consumed poison in his auto. After consuming poison, he himself drove an auto to his home, where when his health deteriorated, he was taken to the hospital, but the doctors declared him dead.

Love marriage and 8 years relationship

The love affair between Vikram and Rhea was going on for the last 8 years. Two and a half years ago, both of them got married in a temple without informing the family and started living in a rented house in Damodar Nagar. Family members allege that after marriage, Riya had completely cut off Vikram from her family. She even blocked Vikram’s parents’ numbers from his phone. About 4 months ago, due to a domestic dispute, Rhea left Vikram and went to her maternal home.

Wife’s anger revealed in WhatsApp chat

After Vikram’s death, the WhatsApp chat between the two is now going viral, which is believed to be the main reason for this suicidal step. In the chat, Riya had used very derogatory words for Vikram. Riya had written, “I don’t want an impotent and deceitful person like you. I hate you, your name and your hypocritical activities.” This hatred and contempt broke Vikram from within, after which he took this dreadful step.

Vikram was his father’s only support

Vikram’s father Jai Kumar told that Vikram was his only son and the only brother of four sisters. He started living under stress after marriage because his wife did not allow him to meet his family. The police are now investigating the matter and the mobile chat has been included as evidence.
