Border-2 trailer set social media on fire as soon as it was released! Sunny Deol’s roar created a stir
Border 2 Trailer Released: The trailer of the most talked about film of 2026, Border 2, has been released today. The film is a sequel to the 1997 classic film Border and is based on the India-Pakistan war of 1971. After watching the trailer, the feeling of patriotism surged and Sunny Deol’s powerful dialogues won everyone’s heart. The film will be released in theaters this month on 23 January 2026 on Republic Day weekend.
A banging start to the trailer
The trailer starts with intense action. The screen goes black after being fired from a Pakistani tank. Then three brave men of the Indian Army are introduced. Varun Dhawan is seen fighting the enemy directly on the ground, Diljit Dosanjh does wonders with the Air Force in the sky and Ahan Shetty shows his strength as the Navy Commander in the sea. During this, Sunny Deol leads everyone in the role of commander.
The trailer shows a glimpse of emotions, action, love and loss. VFX, sound and cinematography look fantastic. The patriotic mood has been captured perfectly in the trailer.
Sunny Deol’s explosive dialogues
The biggest weapon of the trailer is Sunny Deol’s dialogues. In one scene Sunny says – "For a soldier, the border is not just a line drawn on the map, but a promise to his country that no one will go beyond where he stands. Neither any enemy, nor his bullet nor his intention…and no matter what happens today, we will not let this promise be broken." Hearing this dialogue gives goosebumps.
Another powerful dialogue from Sunny comes at the end of the trailer – "Hey, in your Pakistan, there are not as many people who slaughter goats on Eid as here." This line is a complete package of mass entertainment. Fans are going to watch it with applause in the theatre.
border 2 movie information
According to reports, Border 2 is approximately 200 minutes i.e. 3 hours 20 minutes long. This length has been kept so that the entire story of the war, the bravery of the Army, Navy and Air Force can be shown well. The film is full of dramatic, maternal and patriotic moments. Censor certificate has not been received yet, so there may be slight change in the length.
The film stars Sunny Deol (Lt. Col. Fateh Singh Kaler), Varun Dhawan (Major Hoshiar Singh Dahiya), Diljit Dosanjh (FG Officer Nirmal Jeet Singh Sekhon) and Ahan Shetty in lead roles. Mona Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Anya Singh and Medha Rana are also playing important roles.
