New Bajaj Chetak Electric Scooter: The electric two-wheeler market is growing rapidly in India and in this race, Bajaj Auto has launched Bajaj Chetak C25 electric scooter under its trusted brand. The company has kept its starting price at ₹ 91,399 (ex-showroom). This new model of Chetak family looks more powerful than before in terms of design, features and range, especially for the daily commuters in cities.

Neo-retro design that catches your eye

The Chetak C25 gets the same neo-retro look that Chetak is known for. The front apron is kept simple and clean, with gentle curves giving it a premium feel. It has a horseshoe shape LED headlamp. New graphics on the side panels and a changed taillight design at the rear make it slightly different from the older models.

Full metallic body, assured strength

Chetak C25 is the only electric scooter in the Indian market, which has a completely metallic body. It has a boot space of 25 liters and a 650 mm long full-length seat, which is considered comfortable for daily commute. This scooter is available in 6 colors Racing Red, Misty Yellow, Ocean Teal, Active Black, Opalescent Silver and Classic White.

Full of smart features

The new Chetak C25 has a color LCD display, which supports smartphone connectivity. It offers features like call and SMS notifications, turn-by-turn navigation and music control. It also has hill hold assist, so that this scooter can easily climb hills of up to 19% with two people.

Battery, Motor and Range Perfect for daily rides

Chetak C25 has a 2.5 kWh battery, which powers the 2.2 kW electric motor. According to the company, this scooter gives a range of up to 113 kilometers in a single charge and its top speed is 55 km/h i.e. perfect for city riding.

Bajaj Auto says, ‘It takes 2 hours 25 minutes to charge its battery from 0 to 80 percent.’ A 750W off-board charger is available with the scooter, which allows the battery to be fully charged from 0 to 100 percent in less than 4 hours. For suspension, telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear are provided, while the hub-mounted motor ensures a smooth ride.
