The actress told that she had to face sexual harassment and teasing several times at a young age, experiences which she does not want any child to face in their life. ‘He used to stab me in the chest’
In fact, Parvati openly told in ‘The Male Feminist’ podcast how she was repeatedly harassed by strangers. He said that these incidents were so scary that their impact remained on his mind and body for many years. Parvati told that she had to face harassment in public places on many occasions in her childhood.

According to the actress, sometimes someone would pinch her while boarding an auto, and sometimes someone would hit her hard on the chest at a crowded place like a railway station. Parvati said that I was very young at that time and I clearly remember that I felt pain. It was not a light touch, but a hard hit. I couldn’t understand what was happening to me? The actress also said that such experiences were extremely scary for her and she realized at a very young age what it means to be a girl and what it means to endure it. How many times have I looked back and seen a man raising his mundu (dhoti) and showing his body part. At that time I did not know what was happening? When I think back much later, I realize how much these experiences have affected our body.

Mother taught me how to save myself
Parvati told that after these incidents, her mother exposed her to the truth of the outside world at a very young age. He said that my mother used to teach me how to walk on the road. Don’t do window shopping, keep an eye on men’s hands. Imagine, if a mother has to teach all this to her child, how scary it is.

Parvati also revealed that many times she had to face obscene acts in public places. He said that at that age he did not understand what was wrong with him, but as time passed he realized how deeply these experiences had an impact on his mental and physical health.
