Indian ODI team captain Shubman Gill T-20 World Cup Has broken his silence on being excluded from 2026. Gill, who was the vice-captain of the T20 International team after Gautam Gambhir became the head coach, is not named in India’s 15-member squad selected for the tournament.
Speaking at the press conference ahead of India’s ODI series against New Zealand, Gill talked about his exclusion from the team and said that he has accepted the selectors’ decision and is confident that he will get what is written in his destiny.
Gill said, “First of all, I believe that in my life, I am where I should be. Whatever is written in my destiny, I will get it. As a player, I want to win matches for my team, but despite that, I respect the decision of the selectors. I wish the T20 team all the best, I hope they win the World Cup.”
