This is a cheap and effective recipe, which cleanses the stomach as well as improves digestion. To make this, mix two spoons of cooked rice and two spoons of curd in a glass of water. Keep it covered overnight so that it can ferment. Mash or blend it well in the morning. Then add salt and if desired, finely chopped green chillies and onion. Include it in your diet, as the natural bacteria present in it heal the intestinal lining and improve digestion.

Ragi is a superfood, and when it is fermented, its benefits are doubled. To make this, prepare a thin solution by mixing four spoons of ragi flour in half a cup of water. Then boil two cups of water in a pan and slowly add the ragi solution while stirring. Cook it on low flame for about 5 minutes. When it cools down, put it in a glass or earthen vessel and keep it covered overnight. Add some salt, whey, green chilli and onion to it and consume it in the morning. The iron, calcium and probiotics present in it are beneficial for bones and stomach.
