Central government announces new chiefs of NIA, BSF and ITBP

The Central Government has today made a major reshuffle in the leadership of the security forces and the investigation agency, in which National Investigation Agency (NIA), Border Security Force (BSF) And Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) The appointment of new heads of has been announced. NIA gets new Director General

He is a 1994‑batch officer of Himachal Pradesh cadre and was earlier serving as Special Director General in the agency. The Home Ministry and the Cabinet Appointments Committee have approved his appointment.

New chief of BSF

Leadership of Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor Has been assigned to. He is a 1990‑batch IPS officer and has previously served as the Director General (DGP) of Haryana Police.
