Farmers’ fortunes changed due to support price guarantee

Raipur : The well-organized paddy procurement policy of Chhattisgarh government is becoming the basis of prosperity and economic strength in the lives of farmers. Procurement of paddy at support price, online token system, scientific checking of quality and payment within two days has increased both the confidence and enthusiasm of the farmers. Under the guidance of Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai, the procurement work is being conducted with full transparency and smoothly in all the 17 paddy procurement centers of the district, which the farmers are experiencing as a festival today.

After selling the paddy on the scheduled date through online token, the amount was deposited directly into their bank account in just two days. He said that all the necessary arrangements like drinking water, gunny bags and moisture machines were available in the procurement centre, due to which there was no problem.
Encouraged by the timely payment, Dugga said that they are now able to invest in improved seeds, fertilizers and modern agricultural practices for the upcoming crop, resulting in a steady increase in both production and income. He expressed gratitude towards Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai for the effective paddy procurement system.
