A unique confluence of service and devotion was seen on the holy festival of Makar Sankranti in the premises of the famous Maa Durashani temple located in Atal Nagar, Ward No. 6 of Anpara Nagar. Like previous years, a grand Khichdi distribution program was organized on Thursday under the aegis of Maa Durashani Seva Samarpan Sansthan Youth Committee. The program started with ritual worship in the temple of Maa Durashani Mata.

Khichdi was offered to the Mother Goddess by the head priest of the temple, Vijay Dev Pandey, after which the work of distribution of Prasad started among the devotees present. Giving information, director of the committee, Sanjeev Tiwari said that this year’s event was very grand. To receive Khichdi Prasad. Audi Mode, Anpara Bazaar and Renusagarkashi Mode and local residents of Anpara Nagar also arrived in large numbers from remote rural areas adjacent to the city. According to estimates, more than thousands of devotees queued up to receive the Prasad of Mata.

The youth and senior members of the institute cooperated shoulder to shoulder in making this great service of service a success. On this occasion, committee chairman Ramesh Mehta, vice-chairman Shailendra Singh, patron Vijaymal Giri, Vinay Mishra, Ratan Gupta, and Ravijit Singh Kang were mainly present. Apart from this, other members of the committee including Shashi Chandra Yadav, Rajdev Pandey, Chandramouli Mishra, Manoj Prajapati, Mrityunjay, Satyendra and Subhash Chaubey had commendable contribution in handling the arrangements of the program. The committee members said that with the blessings of Mother Durashani, this sequence of service will continue with the same energy in future also.
