L&T Technology shares fall sharply over 3% as Q3 net profit drops 7.9% QoQ to Rs 303 crore, revenue down 1.9%

Shares of L&T Technology Services declined sharply in early trade on Friday after the company reported its Q3 FY26 results, which came in below market expectations on key parameters.

On a quarter-on-quarter consolidated basis, revenue slipped 1.9% to ₹2,924 crore compared with ₹2,980 crore in the previous quarter. Despite the sequential decline in revenue, operating performance showed improvement, with EBIT rising 7.3% to ₹427 crore from ₹398 crore. This led to an expansion in operating margin to 14.6% from 13.4% in Q2 FY26.

However, profit after tax fell 7.9% quarter-on-quarter to ₹303 crore, down from ₹329 crore, weighing on investor sentiment.

Reacting to the results, the stock witnessed selling pressure in morning trade. As of 9:23 AM IST, L&T Technology Services shares were trading 3.86% lower at ₹4,080.00.
