How to hide WhatsApp chats
Step 1: Select chat
Open WhatsApp.
Long press on the chat you want to hide without opening it.
Step 2: Lock chat
After long press, tap the three dots (⋮) at the top.
Select the “Lock Chat” option.
Step 3: Access the locked chats folder
Once a chat is locked, a new folder named “Locked Chats” will appear at the top of your chat list.
All locked chats are stored inside this folder.
Step 4: Hide locked chats folder
Open the locked chats folder.
Tap the three dots (⋮) on the right.
Go to Settings and select “Hide Locked Chats”.
Step 5: Set a secret code
After hiding a folder, it will completely disappear from your chat list.
To access it again, you must enter a secret code.
Make sure you remember this code, as hidden folders cannot be accessed without it.
