Women’s seminar organized under the aegis of Sonbhadra Development Committee

With the help of Sonbhadra Development Committee Sonbhadra and Child Rights and You, a women’s seminar program was organized in village Kukrahi of the organization’s work area. In which, with the resolve to make women aware of their rights, rights and duties, women took the message of moving forward through self-reliance and getting organized and raising their voice for their rights.
In the session, organization counselor Sadhna Singh and social worker Rekha said that doing household work like sweeping and mopping oneself maintains flexibility and agility in the body. He also stressed the need for timely vaccination of pregnant and lactating women. Speakers said that today women are working equal to men in every field, yet many women in rural areas face exploitation and suffering.
In such a situation, it is important for women to be self-reliant and vocal for their rights. He appealed to implement gender equality in the society. Secretary of Sonbhadra Development Committee, Rajesh Chaubey told that similar women’s seminar program is being organized in all the villages of the organization’s work area. A large number of women including counselor Sadhna Singh from Sonbhadra Vikas Samiti and social worker Rekha were present in the program.
